Historical society website design
Like many historical societies, the Friendswood Historical Society was noticing a lack of interest from younger generations. To combat this, they decided it was time to embrace the Internet age. Big Splash created a Historical society website design for Friendswood Historical Society, going for a old-fashioned feel to go with the historical images. The website uses an earth tone color scheme to go with the trees and fig leaves central to Friendswood’s history. It utilizes some jquery on the bulletin page as well as integration with Google Maps.
In addition to the web design, we set up a mobile location finder to highlight their Marker Project around town using QR codes.
