Dance studio website design
The Problem:
As one of the leading dance studios in Houston, Amy Blake’s company needed a website to showcase their branding and level of sophistication. They wanted to show off their dancers and their classes available in a formal and professional manner. Their previous site offered very little to accommodate the needs of the company. She wanted to include a gallery for all of the photos of her beautiful dancers, an organized site to help the parents of the potential dancers find the information they are looking for, a call to action to encourage parents to call or use a contact form to get in touch with the company, a site that offered more branding and that is not over-cluttered and masking the professionalism of the dance academy.
The Solution:
We updated Amy’s dance school website design to a modern look with a very elegant feel. We incorporated a sophisticated color scheme that highlights the photos on the site. We also kept the site in line with the branding of the company and created a smooth transition from one page to the next. The site showcases all the different programs in an organized, easy to understand way while presenting beautiful photos of the studio, the dancers, and their performances. We created individual galleries on each page that is related to the content and allows the reader to visualize as they read through the description of each class level. We also created a short “preview” video of a recital to allow the user to understand the results of learning dance at Amy Blake’s Academy of Dance.
