Introduction: Pelican Insurance, a company that provides auto, commercial, business, marine and flood insurance, has identified some issues that need to be addressed on its current website. BigSplash has joined hands with Pelican to embark on a website redesign project in order for it to be more user friendly and be known by various people.
Challenges: A lot of information was available on the website making it difficult for visitors to go through it and find appropriate insurance solutions they needed. The design of the site made it look old-fashioned because there were no visuals that would catch one’s attention or engage them..
Solutions: We have focused on enhancing this experience by having a neat mobile first responsive design that is also easy to navigate. Quality visual materials like infographics and customer feedback were embedded to further boost brand history telling as well as user participation.
Result: With an improved web page layout; easy navigation system and attractive images – more people enjoyed using the new site therefore increasing user satisfaction.
