King's Kids Learning Center
King's Kids Learning Center is a Christian daycare in Friendswood, TX. They wanted a more professional looking website that properly reflected the quality of their education and care. Specifically, they wanted a colorful site that didn't look too "corporate" and still retained a local business feel. The challenge was to strike a balance on the design between being kid-friendly, but still appeal to adults looking for daycare.
Buy And Sell Pearland
Buy And Sell Pearland was created for a local realtor who wanted to establish her own brand and separate herself from the millions of other realtors out there. The basic color scheme was based off of the business cards we designed for her. After looking at other websites that she liked, we chose to give the site a bit of a "grunge" feel. Our goal was to make the site fun and incorporate her upbeat personality, while still keeping it professional-looking.
Trollin N Pollin Fishing
The goal of this website was to feature the client's souvenir stickers in such a way that was in line with their values of family. Trollin' and Pollin' is all about salt water fishing so it made sense to utilize water and sand type graphics. In the photos supplied by the client, there was a beautiful picture of a sunset so we incorporated the orange color into the design as well.
AR15 Conversions
AR15 Conversions is a major distributor for .22lr conversion kits for AR-15s. They needed an eCommerce website that could feature the products they carry and grow with them as they expand their product line. The color scheme of the website were designed to match their existing promotional material. To complement the static content (CMS) pages, we built a large top navigation that is easy to use. The website also features a Dealer Locator to search for brick and mortar stores that carry their products. We also integrated a custom XML notification system between the website and the fulfillment warehouse to automate the order and procurement process.
Blue Marlin Construction
Blue Marlin Construction is a locally owned construction and remodeling company that needed a website to feature their wide variety of services and previous work. The website design utilizes a large drop down navigation for all their services and links. The site is composed of many large high-quality images to attract the users eye and allow home-owners to quickly see the quality and value of their work.
eModa Bags
eModa Bags was an experienced eBay seller tired of paying the high eBay fees. They wanted to strike out on their own with an eCommerce website. To match the high quality and luxury of their Italian leather handbags, they wanted a boutique feel to their website. We utilized an stately, old fashioned chair and background patterns to achieve this look. A lot of custom Magento work was also involved, such as redoing the filtering side bar navigation and several custom sliders.
Friendswood Historical Society
Like many historical societies, the Friendswood Historical Society was noticing a lack of interest from younger generations. To combat this, they decided it was time to embrace the Internet age. With their design, we went for a old-fashioned feel to go with the historical images. The website uses an earth tone color scheme to go with the trees and fig leaves central to Friendswood's history. It utilizes some jquery on the bulletin page as well as integration with Google Maps.

Garner Environmental Services is a well established environmental and oil spill clean-up company looking to expand into online product sales. In addition, we also redesigned their corporate website to match the look of their ecommerce website. They wanted their website layout to be simple and easy to navigate. Grey and red were the predominant colors in their logo so we carried them over to their websites. Their css/html site has a unique homepage that is based around their star logo.

Heavenly Boudoir
Heavenly Boudoir wanted an eCommerce website that was elegant and classy. To feature their four main product lines, we constructed a home page layout that was at once simple and eye-pleasing, but also served to draw visitors into the website. They can quickly see what the website offers and choose which product category to browse.
Italian Made Leather Bags
Italian Made Leather Bags was another experienced eBay seller tired of paying the high eBay fees. They wanted to strike out on their own with an eCommerce website. To match the high quality and luxury of their Italian leather goods, they wanted a distinct and "European" feel to their website. This Magento website takes advantage of the multiple store functionality of Magento. It was set up to share a common backend for Administrative tasks and products with another Magento store.
Park Lakes Health
Park Lakes Family Medicine website was built for a local physician, just starting out in his practice. He needed a cost-effective website that would feature his dual specialties, family practice and aesthetics.
Flying J Printing
Flying J Printing is a locally owned full-service printing business offering custom printing and embroidery. For their website, they wanted a web presence that would "WOW" their customers as well as offer them ideas for their own creative projects. The website is based on the popular Joomla CMS platform, allowing Flying J to make many of their own content changes.
Coutip
CouTip Online Coupons and Money Saving Tips is a local website whose goal is simple, to help people save money. They needed a database backend to manage all of the coupon and order information simply and effectively. The website can process orders and payments for advertisers and allow visitors to search by category, keyword and location. We utilized a clean and simple layout to make navigation easy.
Speed Sights
Speed Sights are a revolutionary new pistol sighting system. To bring this new product to market quickly, Big Splash worked with the inventor to create an eCommerce website based on the Magento shopping cart platform. Combined with a bold, yet simple to navigate design and layout, this gave Speed Sights a website that could effectively sell thri products and grown with as their product line expanded.
Post Your Band
Postyourband.com is meant to allow bands and musicians to create a portfolio and upload music videos and audio tracks to gain more exposure. The site needed a design to reflect the hip, up to date music that it would be featuring. We chose the Joomla CMS platform to take advantage of its membership capabilities and then extended the functionality to allow for audio and video uploads.
